Number one. Worldwide.
We want to become number one in campus and academy management for SAP customers – not in Austria, not in the German-speaking world, but worldwide. That sounds arrogant. We write it down anyway, as a goal and not as a claim, because a goal you never say out loud is a goal you never reach. Never give up. The sky is the limit.
Challenger. Cards on the table.
Whoever claims first place has to say first where they stand. So: we are new to the market. We do not have a long list of reference customers. And parts of the scope that SAP Student Lifecycle Management has had for years are roadmap for us.
- What is thereAdmission, module booking with seven checks, teaching with LMS sync, assessment, degree audit, signed credentials, posting to S/4HANA, multi-tenancy on SAP BTP. All features →
- What is missingStudy object with re-registration, exam scheduling, notices as documents, statutory statistics, dunning, the shipped Fiori app. The gaps →
- Where we stand in the marketAcademyTailor states five of six features in the comparison table; continuing education and academy is partly covered today. The comparison →
The way it is built justifies the ambition.
- On the platform SAP customers already have.SAP BTP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Cloud Identity Services, posting to SAP S/4HANA. No extra data centre, no modification in the core.
- Built for many institutions, not for one.One HDI container per tenant: the same version runs for a small academy and a large university – on every continent where SAP BTP runs.
- Rules with mandatory tests.73 rule modules, at least 90 % test coverage, tests before every push. Quality you can recalculate.
- University and academy in one.The same lifecycle for studies, internal training and certification – the flywheel knows no border between campus and corporation.
- Bilingual out of the box.User interface, templates and code lists in English and German. More languages follow the same structure.
- Honesty as a method.Every feature with a status, every statement with a source, every competitor by their own statements. Whoever wants to be number one has to be verifiable.
Four public touchstones.
An ambition without a yardstick is a slogan. You can check these four things yourself every time you visit this website.
Roadmap becomes product
How many building blocks on the features page move from “roadmap” to “in the product” with every release?
The table stays honest
Every row in the comparison with source and date – and our own row measured as strictly as everyone else’s.
Customers speak
We name references only once customers approve it in writing. If names appear here one day, it is because they wanted it.
Questions about the ambition.
- Is AcademyTailor number one today?
- No. Today we are the challenger: new to the market, without a long reference list, with parts on the roadmap. Becoming number one is our goal – and we say openly what you can measure the path by.
- How does AcademyTailor measure progress?
- By things you can check yourself: the features page with a status for every building block, the comparison table with sources, the test coverage of the rule layer, and how many roadmap items move into the product with every release.
- Why on SAP of all platforms?
- Because many universities and companies already run SAP – and because the SAP ERP 6.0 question is on the table for many of them right now. A solution on SAP BTP fits that landscape without touching the core.
